How to replace led module from back service of led screen

In the process of the maintenance, led module replacement is a quick way to move away the problem of LED or IC. To know the way of led module replacement, we’d begin with the led module assembly process:

 

Mainly speaking, there are two ways to assemble the led module on the frame of the led cabinet. One way is assembling the led module with screws from the front side. In this way, it is possible to maintain the LED screen from the front.

 

And another type, the led module is assembled with the screws inside of the led cabinet, and this is what we called a “back service” led display. This type is widely chosen, especially in the giant-sized LED screens, and the led displays installed in high places. The reason is that the big-sized LED display, usually it leaves a maintenance channel behind the screen; and if the led display is installed in a high location, it would be a risk for the operators to maintain the led display from the front side.

 

Here we will take some pictures to instruct how to replace the led module from the back side of the led screen:

1) First, take off the screws which are used for mounting and fixing the led module. When you take off the screws, it is better to catch the IDC connectors to avoid its dropping from the front.

2) Catch and hold the led module by the IDC connector and push towards the front.

 

3) Adjust the led module to be a suitable position that could be taken into the led cabinet throughout the space bare.led module replacement.

 

4) Replace it with a spare module, and mount it back with a contrary steps of 1-3.

 

Normally, the led module could be taken into the cabinet through the bared space on the led cabinet. But sometimes, if the led module in square shape, and in a small size, like P10mm DIP outdoor led module, the led module size is: 160x160mm, when the led module has been taken off, the space leave there couldn’t be big enough to take it into the led cabinet. In this case, we need to make a special design to allow the led modules passing.
